Terry defeated Dave Bolus 3 and 2 in the final.
Terry played impeccable golf for the first six holes (and to be honest Dave was a bit ropey) and as a result Terry was 6 up after 6.
Dave steadied the ship by halving 7 and then winning 8 and 9 and then more holes on the back 9 as Terry began to tire.
By the end of hole 15 Dave had fought back to be just two down and it looked like we were going to have a nail biter and possibly a par 3 play off.
However Dave’s tee shot on 16 went left into the trees and we couldn’t find his ball.
Terry seized his opportunity knowing that steady play would secure him the win. A good approach and 2 good putts and it was handshakes all round Terry taking the win 3 and 2.
