The weather was perfect with sunshine and a light breeze which was a real treat for April. A number of the blue TOFs polo shirts were also seen on display for the first time this year. Let’s hope for perfect weather for all of the remaining Away Days.
We played the 9 holes of the East course followed by the front 9 of the West course, so who would come out the champions on the day? The Tipple on the Tee was provided by Steve Gray with a very nice apricot brandy.

The best stableford was tied at 45 points each between Rob Lindley and Steve Gray, with Rob winning on countback. In third place with a very respectable 40 points was David Roberts.
The least number of putts was also tied, this time between Derek Copson and Paul Wynn who shared the prize money. Derek also won Nearest the Pin, just pipping Pete Saunders.
The most golf played was won by Dave Bolus whose prize was a very nice bottle of red.
Congratulations to all and a big thank you to Weybrook Park whose facilities and course were, once again, first class.
