| TOFS Trophy Winner - Dave Bolus |
We had a very pleasant gathering of
more than enough candidates to give us good competition.
The weather as always was very very
good, and the course was surprisingly in good order, and well maintained,
better than I remember it.
We played Bing Bang Bong for
the first time, which I thought was great fun (as I won it, I did pull a few
tactical strokes) but a bit slow. We played Stapleford for the trophy
which was won with a very credible 36 points by Dave Bolus well done Dave.
The food, (which was the main
attraction of the day) was Cottage Pie and extremely good, with plenty of veg
and extra gravy, with a sponge cake for afters.
" Did I mention there was extra
gravy"
