Our first awayday of the new season took us to the undulating fairways of Donnington Valley Golf Club at Newbury. 22 members rolled up to enjoy bacon rolls and coffee, a tipple on the tee, 18 holes of golf and a two course meal of pie and chips followed by sticky toffee pudding. The weather was good, the greens were tricky, but a good time was had by all.
