What a lovely day was had by the “CREAM of the CROP” that attended, that’s not to say we didn’t miss the rest of you, cos we would like to have had you there to have others to cheek and abuse.
The extremely proud winner of the coveted TOFS trophy was Clifford, it was destined for his trophy cabinet no doubt, he also won our putting competition and was rewarded with much money and chocolates.
Brian M was the well deserved winner of the stapleford comp. and nearest the pin as well, so he also went home with loads of money and chocolates.
The meal after was one of the best by flavor (barring Waterstock) that I remember, but memory is apt to falter these days.
Our next outing is at WYCHWOOD GC, 26th Sept. tee off at 10.22 OX7 6QQ
